Janet L. Guerette, 85

DANVERS — Janet L. (Bravos) Guerette, 85, died Sunday morning, April 23, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the loving wife of Donald M. Guerette of Danvers, with whom she shared 21 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn on July 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Yolanda (Tortolini) Bravos. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School.

Mrs. Guerette began her career at Jordan Marsh, was she worked as an executive secretary. She and her husband then owned and operated Plaza Lighting at Endicott Plaza in Danvers for more than 20 years.

A longtime Danvers resident, she was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Diane Guerette and her companion Robert Styczko of Salem and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elaine Geist.

Service information: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 9 a.m. in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. SAUGUS — Caroline M. Walsh died peacefully in her home April 24, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Edward Walsh.

Cherished mother of Edward Walsh and his wife Sheila of Danvers, David Walsh of Rowley, and Peter D. Walsh of Saugus. Sister of Thelma Davis and her husband Charles. Loved dearly by her six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many close nieces, nephews and friends.

A lifelong resident of Saugus, who cared for her family, church, and community. Her kind and giving nature will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace our sweet Caroline.

William P. Casey, 80

LYNN — William P. “Bill” Casey, 80,a life-long resident of Lynn, passed away in the NSMC – Salem Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Born in Lynn on December 29, 1936, he was the son of the late Christopher and Susan (Murray) Casey. Bill was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate and football player with St. Mary’s High School; graduating with the Class of 1954. He went on to graduate from Boston College in 1958, before finally completing his education with the New England School of Law in Boston in 1968.

Bill married his love, Helen C. O’Neil, in Belmont on August 13, 1966 before the couple settled into Lynn to begin their family. For over 32 years, Bill was employed with the Lynn District Court as the  assistant Clerk Magistrate; retiring in 2000. Bill was a past member of the Essex County Bar Association as well as the Massachusetts Bar Association He was also an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed books written by Robert Ludlum. Bill also was a big sports fan and loved to watch football and baseball.

Bill leaves his wife of 50 years, Helen C. Casey of Lynn, his children; Maureen Hackman and her husband, Christopher of Farmington Hills, MI and Kevin Casey of Washington, DC, his sister, Anna Casey of Lynn, and his sister-in-law, Pauline Casey of Saugus as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph D. Casey.

WALPOLE — Herbert Tobin, 81, of Walpole, entered into rest April 21, 2017. Herb was a pioneer in computer programming starting in 1957 and worked for Rocketdyne, MIT on the Apollo 13 moon landing, and the Foxboro Company for 30 years. He was active in the vintage car community. Beloved husband of the late Myrna “Miki” (Derby). Devoted father of Dan Tobin and his wife Meaghan Agnew, and Sharon Tobin Fishbein and her husband Matt Fishbein. Loving brother of the late Lester Tobin. Cherished grandfather of Isabelle and Magnolia.

MERRIMAC — Denise (Bonnevie) Villagracia, 63, of Merrimac, formerly of Saugus and Lynn, died Monday, April 24, 2017.

Born Jan. 21, 1954 in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Augustine (Levasseur) Bonnevie.

Denise was an Avon representative like her mother. She enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with family. Denise worked as a publishing specialist for DexMedia, formerly Verizon and NYNEX for 25 years and at the Daily Evening Item newspaper for several years prior.

Denise leaves a daughter, Aimee Robinson and her husband Andy of Groveland; and two grandsons, Andrew (AJ) and Adam, who were her pride and joy. She also leaves two sisters, Paula Dresser and husband Rick of Dover, N.H., Christine Manley and husband Bob of Saugus; a brother, Richard Bonnevie and wife Shirley of Hooksett, N.H.; five wonderful nieces and five great-nieces and nephews.

Denise will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Marion M. Karayianes, 89

Marion M. (Amirault) Karayianes passed away peacefully at 89 years old. A lifelong resident of Lynn, Marion was the daughter of the late Laurent and Regina (Comeau) Amirault, and the wife of the late Edward Karayianes.

She attended St. Jean’s School, and later worked at Rooks Clothing Store in Lynn and United Supermarket in Lynn. Marion enjoyed life; especially traveling and playing cards. She was a talented seamstress who loved making clothes for herself and her family, and she enjoyed knitting.

She is survived by her sister, Rita Louise Richard of Florida; daughter, Claire Tyburc of Seattle, Wash.; son, Armand Fournier of Maine; stepchildren, Jo-Anne Laurino of Florida, Edward Karayianes of Virginia, James Karayianes of Arizona, Elaine Lazurek of Arizona, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Edward, her daughter Gail Fournier, her granddaughter Regina Tyburc, two brothers and two sisters.

Patricia A. Tierney, 59

LYNN Patricia A. (Hart) Tierney, 59, of Lynn, died Saturday afternoon at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly following a brief illness. She was the former wife of Robert P. Tierney.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Virginia G. (Greeley) Hart. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn and a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1975. She continued her education at Bridgewater State College and received her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Salem State College.

Patricia taught for many years in the Lynn Public School system and retired as a music teacher. She taught water aerobics at several venues on the North Shore and taught students to play the piano and flute as well. She also was a Certified Diamondtologist.

Patricia enjoyed traveling, going to the theatre, seeing plays and concerts and was a member of the North Shore Social Meetup club. In her younger days, she spent time at Westward Shores in Ossippee, N.H. where she enjoyed water skiing, camping, and being outdoors.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Jean Marie Hart of Lynn, her two aunts, and by several cousins and dear friends.

Service information: Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 a.m. at the Conway, CAHILL-BRODEUR Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Pius Church, Maple St, Lynn to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. She was born in Lynn and moved here in 2005. She was Catholic by faith and retired from H & R Block Tax.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Rosemary MacKeen; son, Joseph Vigliotta; two brothers, Edward and William Nowlan; four grandchildren, Bob MacKeen, Wendi, Brian and Patrick Vigliotta, five great-grandchildren, Alycia, Paiten, Angelo, Scarlet and Sophia, many nieces and nephews.

Scott W. Ashley, 69

OSSIPEE, N.H. Scott Wayne Ashley, (Harry), 69, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017 in Ossipee, N.H.

Scott was born in Lynn in 1948 and graduated from Lynn Classical in 1965.

He served in the Navy, worked for GE for 35 years, and was a volunteer police officer. He loved hot rods, motorcycles, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. He was the son of the late Edward and Phyllis Ashley, from Lynn.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ashley; son, Brian Ashley; daughter, Jacquelyn Lemure; step-daughter, Carolyn; grandchildren, Scott Lemure, Jaylen Lemure, and Trevor and Kaitlyn Ingalls.

SAUGUSRobert D. Anderson, 75, passed away surrounded by his beloved family on April 24. He was the loving husband of 52 years of Gail (Smith) Anderson.

Born in Lynn and raised in Saugus, he was the son of the late George A. and Barbara (MacLachlan) Anderson. Bob graduated from Saugus High School in 1959, was an employee at Northeastern University for 28 years. He worked as a mechanical draftsman/designer on small rocket programs with the USAF. Bob had a love for the game of golf. He enjoyed travel with his wife.

Besides his wife, he also leaves two sons, Gregory and his wife Rhonda of Haverhill, Glen and his wife Nicole of Groveland; one daughter, Robin Anderson-Fuller of Saugus; six grandchildren, Taylor, Casey and her fiancée Anthony, Isla, Tyler and his wife Caitlyn, Dylan, and Kylie Fuller; he was the brother of Sky Anderson and his wife Faye of California, Dorothy Millea and her husband Butch of Saugus, Linda Guse and her husband Lee of Ohio, George M. Anderson and his wife Julie Schmit of California.

Rosemary Mrakovich, 92

DOVER, N.H.Rosemary (Slivinski) Mrakovich, 92, of Maple Suites Independent Living, Dover for eight years, died Friday April 21, 2017, at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

Born in Decatur, Ill. October 6, 1924, the daughter of Edward and Magdeline Slivinski. She was a former resident of Merrimack, N.H. and Lynn, Mass.

Rosemary worked for General Electric Company for 48-years as secretary and senior administrator. She took dictation for Ronald Reagan while on a visit to GE offices.

She was a volunteer at the Bedford, Mass. VA for 15-years with her late husband Vincent, and also distributed Meals-on-Wheels in Massachusetts.

She had a love of family and others, always had a smile and was a great listener and always played it forward.

She was the widow of Vincent Mrakovich and is survived by her brother-in-law David and Gertrude Mrakovich of Lincoln, Mass., Sofi Stevens of Billerica, Mass., nieces and nephews Paul and Linda Stevens, New Ipswich, N.H., Ken and Brenda Stevens Methuen, Mass., David and Sharon Mrakovich, Lexington, Mass. Ernest and Donna Taylor, Chelmsford, Mass., Diane McGinnis, Billerica, Mass. and Tori and Richard of Salem, Mass.

There will be a Celebration of Life 2 p.m. Tuesday May 9 at Maple Suites, Holiday Dr., Dover, N.H.. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday May 24 at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H.

James L. Alexander

NAPLES, Fla. — James L. “Jimmy” Alexander of Naples, Fla., formerly of Lynn and Edinburgh, Scotland, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, with his family and friends by his bedside. He was the loving husband of Helen C. (Neill) Alexander, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of the late George and Isabella (Lees) Alexander, he resided in Edinburgh for most of his life before immigrating to the United States in 1970. He studied at the Edinburgh School of Building & Crafts and earned his Masters in Housepainting and Decorating. He also served as a Scots’ Guard with the British Army from 1958-1960. He was employed with General Electric for 26 years, before retiring in 1999 and moving to Naples, Fla. Jimmy was always the life of the party and brought laughter and good times to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his two daughters, Lynn Furey and her husband William and Lea Matayabas and her husband Michael, all of Lynn; two sisters, Mary D. Alexander and Janette D. Jones, both of Lynn. He also leaves his five grandchildren, Jamie Trombley of Hudson, N.H., Angela Furey, William Furey, Christopher Ford Jr., and Madison Matayabas, all of Lynn; and his two great-grandchildren, Alexis Trombley and Dante Trombley. He also leaves many nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved Scotts Terrier, Angus. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and George Alexander.

His family would like to thank the staff at Barrington Terrace and Avow Hospice for their loving care and support.

Maureen C. Conrad, 87

PEABODY — Maureen C. (Martin) Conrad, 87, of Peabody, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George J. Conrad.

Maureen was born in East Boston on April 3, 1930, the only daughter of the late William J. and Lucy (Daley) Martin Sr., but moved to Lynn when she was approximately 5 years old. She attended St. Joseph’s Institute and was  a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, Class of 1947. She was employed as a teller at the General Electric Credit Union for four years after her graduation.

Following her marriage to her husband George, they moved to a home in Peabody where she resided for 64 years. For 20 years, while raising her family, she was “ head waitress” at Luther-Withams Caterers.

Family was the most important thing to Maureen, a value she passed on to each of her children. She loved cooking for her family, especially baking blueberry cake and brownies for her grandchildren. She enjoyed clothes shopping for all the best deals, loved the Red Sox, was an avid reader, and missed dancing, which she enjoyed for many years.

In younger days, she was active in St. Ann’s Sodality and PTO at South Memorial School.

She is survived by her two sons and three daughters, Michael Conrad and his companion, Kris Mackert, of Vienna, Va., Peabody Police Officer Patrick Conrad and his wife Darlene, Maureen Delpero and her husband Richard, Liane Conrad, Gail Desmond and her husband Jack, all of Peabody. She is also survived by her oldest brother, William J. (Jane) Martin Jr. of Lowell; her 11 precious grandchildren, Ryan (Andrea) Delpero, D’yana Delpero, Jesse (Heather Jackson) Desmond, Rebecca (William) Dunn, Jordan Desmond, Christopher T. Desmond, Taylor Conrad, Joseph Conrad, Tyler Conrad, Madison Conrad, and Shaun Conrad, her four great grandchildren, Kane Wojick, Benson, Isabel and “baby girl” Delpero, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher M. Desmond, and two brothers, Edward Martin and Joseph Martin. In addition to her family, Maureen leaves behind her dear lifelong friends, Claire Kasle, Margaret “Peg” Hanagan, Lorraine Therrien, Anna Laughlin, and Pauline “Punky” Hart, fondly referred to as “The Club.”

Service information: A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the CONWAY, CAHILL-BRODEUR Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass at St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., in Peabody at 12 noon. Harry Ofilos, 74

SALEM Harry Ofilos, 74, of Salem, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House on May 5, 2017, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Harry is survived by his wife Jeannine (Tache’) Ofilos; eldest son Jonathan Ofilos, his wife Michelle and their two children Julia and Ryan, all of Salem; his son Matthew Ofilos of Reston, Virginia; and daughter Alyssa (Ofilos) Sweeney and her husband Kevin of Salem. Additionally, Harry is survived by his brother Christy Ofilos and his wife Claire of Lynn, his sister Georgia Aucone and her husband Richard of Lynn, his sister-in-law Laura Ofilos of Jamaica Plain, his brother-in-law Kenneth Tache’ of Salem, many loving nieces and nephews, and his close friend and co-worker Carla (Petruccelli) Fay of Revere. Harry was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Stella Ofilos, his brother John Ofilos, and his close friend and father-in-law, Henry Tache’.

Harry was born in Lynn and is a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, where he earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy. He served two years in the Army as a Pharmacist and Specialist (E-5) at Ft. Jackson, S.C. during the Vietnam conflict. Upon his return to Massachusetts, he continued his calling as a pharmacist in Winthrop, where, in 1984, he purchased Brown’s Pharmacy, serving the community for 32 years, making many close friends and life-long customers. Harry was known as a selfless, compassionate man who would do anything for his family, friends, and customers. As an entrepreneur and healthcare provider, Harry was trusted throughout the community. Whether you were picking up your medication, or just in for a coffee and donut, you could be sure that Harry would be at Brown’s waiting to greet you.

Sidney Farber once proclaimed: “It has been said the purpose of life is to spend it on something that outlives you. No man finds his ultimate end in himself, but does so by sharing with others.” Harry’s legacy will live on for many years through all of those who were lucky enough to know him and use his life as the standard for compassion and generosity.

FOXBOROPaullette (Dery) Tyler, 71, passed away unexpectedly in her home on May 2, 2017. Born in Gardner, Mass., Paullette was the daughter of the late Paul & Henrietta (Leblanc) Dery. She had resided in Foxboro the past 25 years and was formerly of Lynn. She was educated in Lynn schools and resided there raising her three loving children, Paulette Caton and her husband Rob of Taunton, James Tyler of Nor-ton and Theresa Tyler and her companion Eduardo Saldana of Lynn. She also leaves her grandchildren Vincent Valenti Jr. and Aiden Saldana of Lynn. Paullette also leaves her sister Rita Courtemache of Paso Robles, Calif. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Reverend Thomas R. Champigny, 62

SPRINGFIELDReverend Thomas R. Champigny, 62, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He passed into Eternal Life at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Lynn on February 12, 1955, a son of the late Edward W. Champigny and Eva Marie (Comeau) Champigny. He attended Saint Jean the Baptist Grammar School in Lynn and graduated from Saint John’s Preparatory School in Danvers. He furthered his education and attended Merrimack College in North Andover before beginning his studies for the Priesthood at Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton. He continued his priesthood studies at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, N.Y. where he was ordained to the Transitional Diaconate in 1980. He performed pastoral work during the summers of 1977 to 1979, at Holy Trinity Parish in Greenfield, Mass. and served as a Transitional Deacon at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Holyoke, Mass. He was ordained to the Priesthood for the Diocese of Springfield on May 16, 1981, by the Most Reverend Joseph F. Maguire, Bishop of Springfield at the Cathedral of Saint Michael the Archangel in Springfield. He celebrated his first Mass at his home parish, Saint Jean de Baptiste Church in Lynn. Father Champigny served as Parochial Assistant at the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Easthampton, MA from 1981 to 1983 and 1985 to 1986, Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish in West Springfield, Mass. from 1983 to 1985 and Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Westfield, Mass. from 1986 to 1994. He also served as Administrator of Saint Patrick Parish in Northfield, Mass. in 1994 and later at the former Notre Dame du Bon Conseil Parish in Easthampton. He was named Pastor of Notre Dame du Bon Conseil in October of 1995 and served in that position until 2007. He left Notre Dame du Bon Conseil Parish on Sabbatical in 2010. Following his Sabbatical, he served as Chaplin of Providence Place, Mary’s Meadow and Beaven Kelly, all in Holyoke. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his loving brother, Carl E. Champigny who was Called Home in 2003. He leaves his loving brother and sister, Edward W. Champigny and Jean-Marie LeMieux and her husband, Richard, all of Lynn; his four cherished nephews and two cherished nieces, Zachary, Andrew, Mary and Thomas Champigny and Melissa and Christopher LeMieux; and his many dear cousins, friends and extended members of the Champigny, Comeau and LeMieux families.

Service Information: Father Thomas will Lie in State on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. which will be followed by a 7 p.m. Prayer Vigil Service at the Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel at Providence Place, 5 Gamelin Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. A Pontifical Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Mitchell T. Rozanski, Bishop of Springfield on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel. His burial will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Saint Jean de Baptiste Cemetery, 134 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904. His funeral services are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. Sister Frances Donahue, SND, 87

LYNNSister Frances Donahue, 87, of the Sisters of Notre Dame, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in the Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, Worcester.

Sister was born in Lynn, daughter of John J. and Frances T. (Downey) Donahue.

After graduating in 1947 from St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, Sister Frances entered the Sisters of Notre Dame. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Emmanuel College.

Sister Frances went on to receive a master’s degree in Bacteriology in 1969 from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. In 1978, she received a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Population Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was also awarded a Ph.D. in Public Health Research and Evaluation in 1981. From 1980 through 1983, she was also a Project Director in Pitt’s Public Health program.

Sister Frances began her education mission at Notre Dame schools in Lawrence and Somerville. She taught biology and Chemistry at St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence from 1962 to 1968. She taught Biology and Microbiology at Emmanuel College from 1968 to 1976. After returning to Boston from Pittsburgh in 1983, she joined the faculty of the Health Care Administration Education Program at Emmanuel. She completed her career at Emmanuel with the college development office, retiring in 1999.

In 2000, Sister Frances joined the staff of St. Mark’s Parish in Dorchester, where she helped with liturgies and continued her commitment to social justice there until 2011.

Sister Frances leaves her brothers Daniel J. Donahue of South Yarmouth and John P. Donahue and his wife Ellen of Nahant, her sister Julie A. Donahue of South Yarmouth; nieces Terry of Nahant, and Jacqui and her partner David of Atlanta; nephews Ross and his wife Cheryl of Lexington, and Dan Donahue of Boston; a brother-n-law Paul Bertrand of Nahant; three great nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends as well as her sisters in religion, the Sisters of Notre Dame. She was predeceased by her sister Norine M. Bertrand.

Service information: The funeral Mass scheduled in February was postponed due to weather. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 19, at 2 p.m. in the Notre Dame du Lac Chapel, 555 Plantation St., Worcester.

Elizabeth LaFlame, 85

LYNN — Elizabeth “Betty” (Nelson) LaFlame, age 85 and lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends.

Betty was born on Nov. 1, 1931 in Lynn, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Alice M. (Sharpe) Nelson. She was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School Class of 1950. She received a degree in drafting from Lowell Tech.

Betty had worked in the engineering department for the City of Lynn for 25 years, retiring in 1997. Betty enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was a selfless woman who enjoyed dotting on her daughter, Michelle. She was a woman of strong faith. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and a passionate Eucharistic Minister. Betty also enjoyed traveling with her family. She was a generous and giving woman who devoted her time and treasure to the St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Mary’s.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Richard T. LaFlame. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle LaFlame-Healey and her husband Tom of Natick; eight siblings, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Betty was also predeceased by four siblings.

Service information: Family and friends are invited to attend Betty’s visitation on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, MA 01904. Alice J. Kirby, 88

LYNNFIELDAlice J. Kirby, 88, of Lynnfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 18, 1928 in Chelsea, the daughter of the late William H. and Ellen (McCarrick) Tiernan. She was raised and educated in Revere and graduated from the Immaculate Conception School. Alice had worked for many years in the Library for the Lynn School Department. Alice was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Lynnfield. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Alice was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Paul A. Kirby. She is survived by her daughters; Janice A. Sheehan and her husband, John J. of Lynnfield and Mary E. Wall and her husband, Garrett J. of Peabody, her brother, William H. Tiernan of Ipswich, her grandchildren; Michael Sheehan and his wife, Jennifer and their son, Benjamin, Brian Sheehan and his wife, Janine and their son, Jack, Amanda Kirby Limoli and her husband, John and their children, Landon and Ava, Brendan Kirby and his wife, Daniella, Christopher Kirby, Jaclyn Kirby and Ryan Wall. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Mary Valeri, Dorothy Kirby and Jane Kirby, as well as Alice’s life-long friend, Anna Loughlin. Alice was predeceased by her beloved son, Paul S. Kirby.

Nola Mae Collum, 87

RAYMOND, N.H.Nola Mae Collum, 87, formerly of Saugus, died at her home, surrounded by her family on May 14, 2017.  She was born in Oakland, Calif., the daughter of the late George H. and Nola F. (Miller) Daman.

A resident of Saugus for over 60 years, she moved to Raymond six months ago to live with her daughter.  She worked for many years as a cashier at Stop & Shop in Saugus and was Past Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star Tontaquon Chapter #100.

A dedicated mother and grandmother, she was very skilled at sewing, needlepoint, arts and crafts, and enjoyed reading and cooking for others.

She is survived by three children, Margaret E. Collum of Saugus, Franklyn K. Collum Jr. and his wife Mary Meyers of Rochester, N.Y., and Nola L. Castle and her husband Thomas of Raymond, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Daniels and her fiancé John Rivard, Dawn O’Buck and husband Michael, Derek Collum and wife Lynne, Stephanie Reichelson and husband Jason, Scott Castle and wife Rhonda, Heather Brown and husband Stephen, Thomas Castle and wife Tiffany, and Ashley Castle; and ten great-grandchildren, Ethan A., Dylan, Corbin, Maya, Drew, Ethan C., Porter, Eli, Lydia, and Ella.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Mildred, Helen, Lorraine, George, and David.

Service information: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the BREWITT Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, N.H.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
